CREW PROFILE

 

 

• CAPTAIN:      Nikos Tsanas

Nikos was born in 1966, he is engaged and plans to get married towards the end of the summer. He started being at the sea very young joining his father, a captain and owner of a merchant vessel. Thus he made his first contact and studies next to him. He is a graduate of the merchant marine academy and his previous experience consists of seven years serving on commercial vessels and four in the field of yachting. Among his other qualifications, he speaks English quite fluently and possesses an extended knowledge of domestic and international navigation. Nikos with his pleasant manners will be your guide through the Greek waters and ensures a successful trip, in term of safety and recreation.

 

• ENGINEER:   Elias Roumeliotis

Elias was born in 1970, single. He is a graduate of the Greek merchant marine academy at the branch of engineers. He served, four years in total, on merchant ships world wide and for the last three years he joined the yachting family as an active member. He is the one who ensures the reliable running of the engines and the efficient operation of the whole machinery onboard Kentavros, including heating, air conditioning etc. Elias speaks English fluently too, anytime he can be of assistance on any out coming situation, request within his field of knowledge.

 

• CHEF:             Dimitris Lazarakis

Dimitris was born in 1965, married. It will not be excessive; saying that he is the touchstone of the boats efficiency, actually Dimitris with his cooking, underlines the word recreation. He works as a cook fifteen years in total, eight of them on yachts, with the best references. He performs his wonders in the domestic (Greek, Mediterranean plates) and foreign cuisine (European, American, tropical plates). Dimitris speaks English and he is gifted with a vigorous personality, on top of his qualifications, he is humorous and surprisingly creative.

 

• STEWARDESS:  Rea Lazarakis

Rea is the only woman among the crew; she was born in 1958, married to Dimitris our chef. She takes care of the interior of the yacht and she is responsible for the service and accommodation. Rea is quite experienced, her six years in the field is the warranty to a truly re-creative trip. She served onboard the royal vessel of Saudi Arabia for two years, attended several seminars in the Hilton luxury hotel and for the last three years she works for our company. She speaks English, permanent smile and willingness is typical of her, she will always be close to your needs and requirements, what you just have to do, is to ask for her!
