CREW PROFILE

 

 

Captain:                        Lazaros Mougios Greek Nationality. He is 39 years old and holds a Captain's Diploma from the National Merchant Marine Academy of Hydra. He is holder of the latest upgraded diploma's of: Possesion of Salvage at Sea, Fire Fighting and First Aid Certification, Operation in all Navigational Electronics equipments (DSC Radio communications, Compasses, Radars, etc) After graduation he served on large cargo ships for three years and from then on he has being working in charter yachts. He has been onboard M/S ZORA since 1994 continuing his successful carrier. His hobbies are: wooden Boats, Sailing (holder of special open sea sailing diploma), water ski/ windsurfing (racing and teaching), and Greek Dance. He speaks fluent English, intermediate Italian and Spanish.

 

Deckhand:                     George Thallas, Greek Nationality, he is 22 years old. He is a holder of Life Saving at Sea, Fire Fighting, First Aid Certificates and speed boat driving diploma. He also has very good experience in wooden boats as he was working with his uncle on a traditional boat yard. George has been onboard M/S ZORA since 1999. His hobbie is taking care of ZORA and her guests.     

 

Cook/ Steward:              Eva Pogachar, Greek / Croatia / Slovenian Nationality, 40 years old. A person with a very friendly character, who always does her best to make her guests feel comfortable and happy. She has a great experience as a cook in charter yachts. She speaks fluent Greek, Croatia / Slovenian and very good English. She enjoys cooking Greek traditional dishes and international specialties. She also loves to organize barbeques in nice sandy beaches. You can also have some Greek cooking lessons from Eva during your vacations.
