Captain:                    George Drivas, Greek nationality, 35 years old, single, speaks English.

                                    Following High School, he graduated from the Academy of Cadet Officers. PROTEUS in 1983. Holds certificates in Fire Fighting, Salvage at Sea and radiotelephone communications. He has acquired a class B Master's certificate of the Merchant Marine.

                                    George has worked as Cadet Officer on cargo ships. He was 2^nd Officer for a year on the M/S ELEFTHERIA in 1989. Then spent three years on the 82ft Sailing yacht JULES VERNE. He returned to ELEFTHERIA in 1993 and has been with her since. He is now in command of the vessel and is fully certified Captain.

                                    George is an experienced water-skier and takes pleasure in teaching guests to ski. He is a pleasant and easy-going person always by the side of guests. He enjoys free diving, listening to music and reading.

 

Chef:                          Vassilis Arvanitis, Greek, 34 years old married with two children. His passion for the sea made Vassilis turned to cooking on yachts. For many years he has worked on various cargo and cruising ships. For the past 8 years he worked as chef at restaurants and hotels such as "Hotel London" in Glyfada and on various cruise ships such as "Express Poseidon" and "Express Aphrodite". Vassilis has joined M/S ELEFTHERIA this year and has already proved his creativity and talent in preparing tasteful dishes. He enjoys traveling, listening to good music and cooking. He is fluent in English and he speaks a few Spanish. Vassilis will surely fulfill your gastronomic needs.
